Level Feather 1

Level Feather 2

1.

Level Feather 3

1.

Hit the shuttle 10-30 cm high upwords with the backhand side of your racket continuously, 6 times. You have three chances.

Stand by the service line, toss up the shuttle, and hit the shuttle over the net with your preferred shot. The exercise is successful if you can do this 5 times in a row. You have three chances.

4.
With one other player, you have to hit the shuttle over the net back and forth to each other. The exercise is successful if you can hit it over 5 times in a row. You have three chances.

5.
While hitting the shuttle continuously upwords, show a type of trick shot. (between your legs, under your leg, behind your back, etc.) The exercise is successful, if you can produce 2 trick shots without the shuttle falling to the ground. You can do as many regular hits between the trick shots as you like. You have three chances.

The coach throws the shuttle close to the net once to the right, then to the left, etc. You have to hit a straight dropshot that has to fall in front of the service line. The exercise is successful, if you can do this from both sides at least 4 times out 5 tries. You have three chances from both sides.

5.
On half court, the coach plays one long and one short shuttle to you. You always have to hit a dropshot. The exercise is successful if you can play back the shuttle 10 times within one rally. You have three chances.

The exercise is successful, if you can play 10 dropshots continuously, which would fall in front of the service line. You have three chances.

4.
For this exercise you need a partner, it could be your coach. The pattern you have to play is long-long-short. The exercise is successful, if you can play the shuttle 10 times continuously. You have three chances.

5.
For this exercise you need a partner, it could be your coach. The pattern you have to play is lift-smash-block. The exercise is successful, if you can play the shuttle 12 times continuously. You have three chances.

Platine feather level

1.
The coach plays from the backhand front corner of the court to your backhand rear corner. You have to hit back backhand dropshots to where your coach is standing. Focus on moving back to the centre of the court after each shot. The exercise is successful, if you can play at least 7 good dropshots out of 10. You have three chances.

You have to serve short from each side. The exercise is successful, if the shuttle lands in a square of 0,5 m x 0,5 m which is made up by the centre line and the front service line. You have to have at least 8 good serves out of 12. You have three chances.

3.
For this exercise you need a partner, it could be your coach. The pattern you have to play is long-long-long-short-short. Either you or your coach can start with the serve, which is the first ‘long’ in the pattern. The exercise is successful, if you play the shuttle at least 10 times continuously. You have three chances.

4.
On whole court, you have to defend smashes with a high lift. The coach smashes, while you have to lift back his smashes. The exercise is successful, if you can play the shot 5 times continuously. You have three chances.

5.
The coach is controlling the rally from the back of the court. He plays one long and one short shot on full court. You have to lift back everything continuously 12 times. Your shuttle should fall no further than 2 metres in front of the baseline. You have three chances.
